INNOGREEN® H20 is a prefabricated, high-flow drainage strip used synergistically with prefabricated
vertical drain (PVD) to rapidly drain away pore water forced out through installed PVD in facilitating soft
ground consolidation.
It consists of a formed double cuspated HDPE core surrounded by PET non-woven geotextile filter fabric.
The strip drain filter fabric restrains soil particles while allowing water to pass into the core to flow
unimpeded to designated drainage exits. Speed and ease of installation by directly connecting stripdrain
with exposed section of prefabricated vertical drain on ground level ensure its effectiveness.
• Not Subject to Clogging & High Discharge Capacity
The structure of double cuspated core provides multiple channels for vertical and horizontal water flow.
The fine pored filter fabric restrains soil particles yet permits high volume entry of water into core.
• Tough and Durable
High crush strength of the cuspated core capable of resisting damage during installation or surcharge soil loading. High tear and puncture strength of the filter fabric withstand damage during back-filling.
• Chemically Resistant
The core and geotextiles fabric are both resistant to all naturally-occurring soil materials. Optional strip
drain fabrics and cores are available for unusual chemical situations.
• Reduces Thickness of Aggregate/Sand Drainage Layer
Provision of stripdrain reduces the thickness of aggregate/sand drainage layer in PVD works. Savings on material and equipment time-cost for drainage layer.
• Economical
Combined installation and material cost of horizontal strip drain is usually less than that for aggregate or sand drainage layer.
