Emas Kiara Group supplied and installed 7 million square metres of woven and non-woven geotextiles and geogrids and 60 million metres of Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD) for the construction of KLIA2 spanning 3.5 hectares, worth around RM2 billion (USD 500mil), aimed to cater for 45 million low-cost airline passengers per year.

In order to mitigate the shoreline erosion at Pantai Kok, two man-made islands were constructed off the island to serve as wave breakers. The engineering feat involved the strategic positioning and sinking of a mega-sized prefabricated geotextile reinforcement to form the support base of the two islands
